This is an excellent book with lots of good ideas. I have studied mindfulness before, but this book present more useful ideas in a very clever and interesting way. The author’s science background makes this book highly credible. The author has found a unique approach to instruct us with the gift of storytelling. This is an useful technique to help memorize the ideas so that they can be used. I believe this book is appropriate for those experienced with mindful techniques, but it also serves as a useful book to begin to expose yourself to mindfulness. I think this would be an excellent book to “parent coach” your teenagers – read it with them, chapter by chapter, and share thoughts and ideas.
